August 2025 Meeting Roundup

We had a fantastic turnout at our , with a rich variety of repertoire and ensembles.

🎸 Solos performed included:

• William Walton’s Bagatelle No. 2

• Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Porque sensible (from 24 Caprichos de Goya)

• Johann Mertz’s Adagio in E Minor

• Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No 1

👥 Ensembles featured:

• A guitar trio performing an engaging program, including a Bach fugue

• Recorder & guitar arrangements of John Dowland and Claude Debussy

• Guitar & mandolin duo with eclectic arrangements, from Cécile Chaminade to Dave Brubeck

It was truly a great night of music, community, and inspiration!
